About the Journal

International Journal of Sexual Science is the official publication of the Federation of Sexual Health Associations aiming to advance the understanding of sexual health as a state of physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being, grounded in a positive perspective on sexuality and sexual rights.

International Journal of Sexual Science is an international, online, open-access journal. The journal provides a platform for researchers, clinicians, educators, and policymakers to explore and share insights on the biological, psychological, social, and cultural dimensions of sexual health and behavior. It features double-blind peer-reviewed articles, editorials, and reviews, utilizing diverse methodologies such as quantitative and qualitative research, critical analyses, surveys, and case studies to explore this multifaceted concept.

The journal is published three times a year in April, August, and December. Special or supplementary issues may also be released.

The official language of the journal is English. No fees are charged at any stage of the submission, evaluation, or acceptance process. All content published in the International Journal of Sexual Science is freely available to readers worldwide, without any subscription fees or access restrictions. Authors retain the copyright of their published work without limitations.
